Procedures to Register As An Approved Auditor

This service is applicable to individuals who have obtained approval from Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM) to be registered as an Approved Auditor with SSM under Section 263 of the Companies Act 2016 (CA 2016).

The following services are available for submission by Approved Auditors through the Corporate Registry System (CRS) via the Corporate Intermediaries Registration (CIR) module:

JANM Approval as an Approved Auditor
For submission of letter of approval obtained from JANM.
Notification of Approval as an Approved Auditor
For submission of the first approval as an approved auditor issued by JANM.
Update Approved Auditor Information
For updating Approved Auditor approval information following the renewal of approval or any other changes.

For the JANM Approval as an Approved Auditor process, online verification by JANM is required before the auditor’s information can be registered with SSM. Applicants who do not have an SSM4U account are required to register for an SSM4U account to gain access to the CRS portal before submitting the application online.
