Procedures to Update Firm of Auditors Information
Applications for Notification of Change in the Register of a Firm of Auditors must be submitted through the
Corporate Registry System (CRS) via the Corporate Intermediaries Registration (CIR) module by any partner of the firm who is registered as a Professional User.
The notification shall be submitted to notify SSM of any changes relating to the Firm of Auditors including:
- Update particulars (firm's principal address, branch addresses, contact details, partner information and employee information) – Auto-approved if all requirements are fulfilled;
- Convert to LLP – The corresponding LLP information must be registered or updated before submitting the conversion application and subject to SSM Officer's approval;
- Change of firm's name – Subject to SSM Officer's approval; and
- Cessation of firm – Subject to SSM Officer's approval.
