What is e-Secretary?

e-Secretary is an online application provided by SSM for registration to act as a secretary which is a requirement under section 241 of the Companies Act 2016.

Upon approval of the application, practising certificate will be issued by SSM and the particulars of the approved applicant will be entered in the Register of Secretaries.
The application is accessible via https://esecretary.ssm.com.my/ for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Application for renewal of practicing certificate of secretary;
Change particular of secretary; and

Change qualification of secretary.

To check status of the application;
To answer and reply the queries that have been issued by SSM; and
To download the Practising Certificate of Secretary after the application is approved.

Important Notes

Please avoid copy and paste any information that required to be key in in the system.
Application for renewal of Practicing Certificate (PC) shall be made not less than 30 days before the expiry date of PC.
CPE points for renewal of practicing certificate (PC) must be collected during the validity period of PC.
