Scope of Interview for Auditor's Approval from SSM Perspective
The main objective of the interview is to ensure the applicants have good character and competent to perform the duties of an auditor in which candidates will be access based on the knowledge and understanding on the provisions of the COMPANIES ACT 2016 for the following scope:
- Qualifications of company auditors;
- Powers and duties of auditors;
- The appointment, removal and resignation of auditors;
- Provision related to company’s accounting and other records, financial statements and Register;
- Administration and management of a company;
- The practice notes, circulars or guidelines issued by SSM; and
- Other relevant provisions.
