The Petaling Jaya Magistrate Court today convicted Hasniza Binti Wazer, the director of Phoenix Vantage Sdn Bhd, Bonus Strategi Sdn Bhd and Netvance Sdn Bhd for failing to lodge the companies’ Annual Return to the Registrar of Companies under Section 165(4) of the Companies Act 1965 (Act 125).
Monday, 17th June 2013 –Zubir Bin Yahya (‘Zubir’), operator of Megaherbs Bioextreme was convicted at Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today for committing an offence under Section 363(3) of the Companies Act 1965 (‘CA 1965’).
Thursday, 13th June 2013 – Mohd Shukri Abdul Rahman (‘Mohd Shukri’), the director of PT LAB Sdn Bhd was convicted by the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court for committing offences under Sections 132(1) and 133A(1)(a) of the Companies Act 1965 (‘CA 1965’).
MyCC will be organising its 1st MyCC Competition Law Conference on 25-26 September at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This conference will serve as a forum to create awareness of the existence of the CA2010, its purpose and the consequences of non-compliance.
