Introduction of Anti-Bribery Management Systems
MS ISO 370001 : 2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems
On 21 November 2018,
Cabinet's Special Committee on Anti-Corruption (JKKMAR), in a meeting agreed that:
"ISO 37001 is utilised comprehensively in every ministry, agency and department and high-risk government-related company (GLC) to prevent corruption and foster a culture of integrity".
MS ISO 370001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems is a management system designed to assist the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) in preventing, detecting, and responding to acts of bribery. This management system demonstrates SSM's commitment to comply with effective anti-corruption laws.
The MS ISO 37001: 2016 ABMS approach enables:
- SSM to conduct corruption risk assessments within the organisation;
- Implementation of anti-corruption and integrity culture among SSM Officers; and
- Implementation of reviews, monitoring and improvement actions on work processes.
