Ensure SSM workforce  is at the highest level of integrity through enculturation, institutional and implementation integrity value within SSM. 

The core function of this section is to promote integrity and create awareness within the SSM workforce by conducting activities to enhance the awareness of integrity and discipline among their  SSM workforce in discharging the duties and responsibilities.

Compliance & Complaints Unit

  • ​​Complaint Management​
    • ​Receive and take action on all complaints/information regarding criminal misconduct and violations of the organization's code of conduct and ethics; and
    • ​Internal Whistleblowing Policy Management.
  • ​​​Compliance
    • ​​​​Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Tracking and Verification
    • Detect and confirm complaints of criminal misconduct and violations of the organization's code of conduct and ethics and ensure appropriate follow-up action is taken; and
    • Report criminal misconduct to the responsible enforcement agency.

Governance, Integrity & Discipline Unit

  • ​Governance
    • ​​Managing the implementation of strengthening governance, integrity and anti-corruption as well as implementing government initiatives, SSM policies, ethics and integrity related to all activities and functions of the Integrity and Discipline Section.
    • ​Implementation of governance:
      • SSM Anti-Corruption Committee Secretariat (JAR);
      • Secretariat of the National Anti-Corruption Plan (NACP) for SSM-related initiatives;
      • Secretariat of the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) KPDN for SSM-related initiative​s;
      • Secretariat of the SSM Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP);
      • Anti-Bribery Compliance Function (ABCF) for the SSM Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ABMS);
      • Conduct integrity screening; and
      • Carry out other related governance.
  • ​Discipline
    • Perform secretarial functions of the Disciplinary Committee and Disciplinary Appeal Committee in accordance with the Statutory Bodies (Discipline and Surcharge) Act 2000 (Act 605).​
  • ​​Strengthening Integrity
    • ​Ensuring the culture, institutionalisation, and implementation of integrity in the organisation.
