STATE OF SINGAPORE ORDINANCE, 1959
Section 4. Consequential amendments
(1) The amendments specified in the third column of the Schedule hereto, being amendments consequential upon the establishment of the State of Singapore, shall be made in the written laws specified in the first and second columns of the Schedule hereto.
(2) Subsidiary legislation made under any written law amended by the Schedule shall, in the absence of any specific provision in such Schedule, be read with such corresponding alterations as to names or titles as may be necessary to bring such subsidiary legislation into accord with the written law under which it is made as so amended.
(3) The Prime Minister may by order from time to time add to, alter or amend the Schedule hereto.
