DIVISION 1 - INVESTMENT COMPANIES

Section 328. Penalties.

(1) If default is made by an investment company in complying with this Division the investment company and every officer of the investment company who is in default shall be guilty of an offence against this Act. Penalty: Imprisonment for five years or thirty thousand ringgit. Default penalty: Five hundred ringgit. (2) No transaction entered into by the company shall be invalid by reason only of the default.
