REGISTRATION OF BUSINESSES ACT 1956 (REVISED - 1978)

(1) Upon the expiry of a certificate of registration issued before the commencement of section 6 of this Act, an application for the renewal of the registration of the business shall be made within thirty days of such expiry to the Registrar under the new section 5A of the principal Act as inserted by section 7 of this Act and section 5A shall apply to such renewal.

(2) Any appeals from the decision of the Registrar under section 11 of the principal Act filed or pending in the Sessions Court immediately before the commencement of section 10 of this Act shall continue to be heard and disposed of by the Sessions Court as if section 10 of this Act amending section 11 of the principal Act had not been enacted.
