Finance and Accounts Section
The main function of Finance and Accounts Section is to plan, manage and control the Commission’s financial position as well as generate additional revenue for the Commission through its investment activities.
The planning, management and control of the financial position involves:
a) monitoring of all revenue collection and expenditure activities;
b) preparation of annual budget;
c) managing all investment portfolios;
d) preparation of periodical reporting inclusive of financial statements; and
e) ensuring that all financial activities are handled in accordance with the financial instructions, circulars and guidelines.
The Finance and Accounts Section is supported by the following Units :

Human Resource Management Section
The Human Resources Management Section serves as a centre for organisational resource and manages internal affairs pertaining to employment matters, as well as facilities for personnel. The scope of the section includes the administration of medical benefits, remuneration management and the implementation of various e-employee services under HRMS. The section is also the Organisations' repository for employees' records of employment.
The following units form the core of the Section:

Organisation Development Section
The Organisation Development Section is entrusted with the task of planning and developing the SSM's human talent management. It has as its ultimate aim, the strategic formulation of programs carefully planned and implemented to optimise the human capital according to organisational needs. This objective calls for the cultivation of personnel well equipped with high performance values and standards as well as sensitivities to the social needs of the society at large.
This section is strategically supported by the following units:

- Performance Management Unit

Integrity and Discipline Section
The role of this section is to promote a high level of discipline and integrity amongst staff especially on matters pertaining to industrial relations and rules & regulations issued by management. Meticulously planned programs are organised for the purpose of inculcating an excellent working culture.
In addition, this section also acts as a centre for counselling, domestics inquiries and as well as functions as the secretariat for SSM's Disciplinary Committee.

Administration & Facilities Management Section
This section serves as the backbone and catalyst of all the activities of each department at SSM so as to ensure that they operate efficiently and effectively.
The section is responsible for the planning and designing of plans and policies relating to office administration activities which includes the designing of implementation programs for the office, asset, inventory and store management systems.
Additionally, the section is also responsible for the designing of standard equipment, supply and service management systems, the planning of programs and policies to improve the quality of SSM as well as the establishment of the Companies Commission’s resource centre. These functions are supported through the following four main units of this section:
- Procurement Unit
- Administration Unit
- Quality Management Unit
- Facilities Management Unit
