P.U. (A) 284/83 REGISTRATION OF BUSINESSES (AMENDMENT) RULES 1983
Rule 3. Amendment of rule 6.
Rule 6 of the principal Rules is amended-
(a) by substituting for the words "two copies" in paragraph (1) the words "one copy" and for the words "within one month of the date of the alteration" the words "immediately of the date of alteration";
(b) by substituting for paragraph (2) the following:
"(2) Where a sole proprietorship business is registered under a trade name and is changed to partnership business. such change shall be registered.";
(c) by inserting a new paragraph (4) after paragraph (3):
"(4) Whenever any registered business is carried on by a partnership and owing to the withdrawal of all the partners, such partnership is dissolved but the business continues to be carried on by new partners, the particulars shall be registered as a termination of one business and the commencement of a different business.".
