In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears-

"agent" means the person named in a memorandum of appointment or power of attorney lodged under paragraph (e) of sub-section (1) of section 332 or under sub-section (6) of section 333 of the Act;

(a) in relation to a company. the number allocated to it on its incorporation;

(b) in relation to a foreign company, the number allocated to it on its registration; and

(c) in relation to a proposed company, the reference number allocated when a proposed name is approved by the Registrar;
