Please be informed that SSM has made amendments to the relevant subsidiary laws which have been gazetted via:
(i) the Registration of Businesses (Amendment) Rules 2020 [P.U.(A) 49/2020]; and
(ii) the Limited Liability Partnerships (Waiver of Fee) Regulations 2020 [P.U.(A) 50/2020].
Both gazettes have come into force on 5 February 2020.
The amendments are intended to be consistent with the provision under item 42 of the Companies Regulations 2017 [P.U. (A) 37/2017] which provides that any application for a copy of corporate profile of company or corporation by any ministry, department or agency of Federal Government are not subjected to any payment of fees.
